The device has a 5.0-inch (13-centimeter) 1080p screen, a 64-bit 2.0 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 MSM8996 64-bit system-on-chip, and 3 GB of RAM. The device also includes a non-removable 2700 mAh battery and 32 GB and 64 GB internal storage with microSD card expansion up to 200 GB.
The Xperia X Performance’s rear-facing camera is 23 megapixels with a sensor size of 1/2.3 inch and an aperture of f/2.0, a Sony Exmor RS image sensor with quick launch, and hybrid autofocus that uses phase detection autofocus to focus the object in 0.03 seconds.

The device is also water and dust resistant, with IP ratings of 65 and 68, and it includes a fingerprint sensor. The US version will come with a free Qnovo Quick Charge 2.0 charger.
