A top Chicago prosecutor said her office will be dropping sexual abuse charges against R. Kelly because the songster is formerly likely to spend the rest of his life in captivity following his persuasions in civil courts.

Dropping the charges doesn’t mean prosecutors view the appellants ’ evidence as any lower “ believable, ” Foxx said. “ occasionally, justice is served — indeed when there’s no conviction, ” she added.
