Gee Baller Marks His 27th Birthday With A New Rap Verse ‘New Chapter’
Nigeria’s fast-rising musician, Gee Baller, has shared a two-minute-long Rap freestyle called ‘New Chapter’ to commemorate his twenty-seventh birthday. The song is a self-introspection note. He opens up about his fears and insecurities, and also boldly pronounces his strengths and talents.
‘New Chapter’ is a Rap ballad with a soulful stripped-down instrumental, one typically Jay Z and Rick Ross would jump on.

After Wizkid made a huge claim that Nigerian Rap was dead, it seems that, just like a Phoenix, it’s rising from the ashes by the means of Gee Baller. Gee Baller was born Great Okogun Emmanuel in Nigeria. He got into music at the mere age of nine, falling in love with his father’s collection of records.
In August 2022, Gee Baller founded his music company called Greatness Musiq LLC. The label and distribution company is based in Lagos, Nigeria. It has an international grip on music, with an elegant roster made up of Gee Baller himself, celebrity rapper Erigga from Nigeria, the rising star Rydm City from Nigeria, gifted rapper Leonid Rose from Switzerland, the A-list Afrobeats producer, GospelOnTheBeatz from Nigeria, and the chart-topping ERIQ, also know as Badman Eriq, from Nigeria.

Since its inception last year, Greatness Musiq LLC has distributed two top albums, namely Erriga’s ‘The Lost Boy’, and Gee Baller’s ‘Black Slides & White Socks’, an EP by Rydm City called ‘Boy Of Dreams’, ERIQ’s single featuring Psycho P called, ‘Troy’, a collaboration between Rydm City, Gee Baller, and GospelOnTheBeatz called ‘Chop Life’, then ‘New Chapter’.

The cover of ‘New Chapter’ is a picture of Gee Baller in a black formal suit and tie, his head clad in a soot barrette, eyes behind dark shades, standing steadfast on the street, while other pedestrian zooms past him. It represents how Gee Baller is calm and collected when building to leave a mark in the global music industry.
In an interview, he hinted that he was planning to have his Greatness Music LLC release fresh music weekly until the end of March to service the market. It’s a new chapter for the twenty-seven-year-old talented music and entrepreneur. Happy Birthday, Great!
