Comparison of the top smartphones, Samsung Galaxy S22 and S23
Samsung has continued its popular S series with the Galaxy S23 since February 17, 2023. But does the newest, high-end smartphone make sense to buy? Or did the previous design serve you just as well? The solutions are here!
The Samsung Galaxy S23, the Galaxy S23+, and the Galaxy S23 Ultra are just a few of the models that the Koreans unveiled in the beginning of February 2023 with their new S23 generation.
Right now, Samsung’s own offer for the Galaxy S23 is the greatest. Brilliant: When you order online, you can get a free memory upgrade, a 100 euro immediate discount, or an additional 100 euro when you trade in an old gadget!
The 23 smartphones hardly differ from the earlier variants on the outside. The displays on the base model, Plus variant, and flagship model are all the same size at 6.1 inches, 6.6 inches, and 6.8 inches, respectively.
Similar to the S22 Ultra, this model also includes an S-Pen and a quadruple camera. For all versions, there are only slight variations in weight. At 233 grams, the S23 Ultra weighs four grams more than its older S22 sibling, thus it should at least be stated here.
The new version is to be seen as a successful advancement of the tried and true, in this way. The camera unit on the back of the smaller versions in the S23 series is based on the S22 Ultra;
however, the three optics are now positioned individually and protrude around one millimeter from the camera unit rather from being clustered in a graduated plateau. a wise design choice.
What does the new technology accomplish in contrast?
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Samsung, one of the most potent processors ever, is unquestionably the new beating heart of the current model series. because Qualcomm, the manufacturer, specifically timed the eight-core for Samsung.
The Exynos processor is not used in the next generation by the technological behemoth. A 30% increase in computation speed should be attainable with the new drive. Samsung even claims that the graphics performance is 41 percent more powerful.
The new models run faster and produce even better resolution results on the camera thanks to the upgraded processor. The improved AI, which makes the most of your background-focused photographs, makes this feasible.
The Galaxy S23 and S23+’s camera configuration is essentially the same as those of its predecessors: 50 MP wide-angle lens, 12 MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and 10 MP telephoto lens. The front camera now sports a 12-megapixel sensor instead of a 10-megapixel one, which is the only new feature.
Here again, the flagship takes the most notable action: The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra now has 200 megapixels, which is twice the resolution of the S22 Ultra.
The battery modifications are negligible: the basic model now has 3,900 milliampere hours (mAh) instead of 3,700 mAh, the S23+ has 4,700 mAh instead of 4,500 mAh, and the S23 Ultra has 5,000 mAh with no changes.
Is the new S-Class pricey enough?
It varies. There aren’t many reasons to get a new S22 smartphone if you currently own one. Simply said, the changes are too slight for that. Additionally, the higher prices do not account for the price differential.
The cost of the new Samsung cell phones has increased by 50 to 150 euros. The S22 series is even more affordable now that the latest generation is available. Practical!
For less than 600 euros, you may purchase the S22 in fashionable green. A really powerful price!
