Apple iPhone SE 4 Postponed Until 2025 [Rumour]
According to a recent report by UBI Research analyst Daejeong Yoon via The Elec, Apple‘s next-generation iPhone SE 4 may not launch until 2025.
The expert points out that BOE’s fate as a supplier for the gadget is currently uncertain due to manufacturing issues at the company. The iPhone SE’s LCD display was used in earlier generations, but it’s anticipated that Apple will transition to OLED in the upcoming model. Given that the device is a basic design, the OLED used would be a cheap item.

“As BOE actively promoted flexible OLEDs, it was promising for BOE to deliver OLED for the iPhone SE4, but due to (BOE’s) performance issues, the supplier is now uncertain,” said Yoon Dae-jung, a researcher at the institute, adding that “The release time of OLED iPhone SE4 has also been delayed by one year from 2024 to 2025.” He said,
“There is an observation that not only BOE, but also TCL CSOT is a candidate group recently,” in reference to the OLEDs that Samsung Display and LG Display are touting for the iPhone SE4 as stiff and flexible, respectively. “Before the iPhone SE4 is released, there is still plenty of time, so we will have to wait and watch.
